Tasting- Charles Thomas Cotes-du-Rhone

Variety: 50% Syrah, 40% Grenache and 10% Mourvedre

Region: Cotes-du-Rhone village of Pont Saint Esprit
Country: France

Critic Review: "Well- made, with loads of berry fruit and a heady, meaty, peppery nose with a hint of Provencal herbs, the wine is fresh, lively, and best drunk over the next 2 years."
Personal Review: The smell and taste of this wine was flower-y.  I thought that it had a strong taste and a little bitter/tarty after taste.
With/Without Food: I tried this without food.
